Prepare/Enrich
Relationships benefit from Prepare/Enrich.
One of the methods I use to guide couples therapy is Prepare/Enrich. Prepare/Enrich is beneficial for couples in their relationship from pre-marital to marital.
This approach also has the means to help me facilitate your process if you would prefer to use a faith component.
David Olson and his wife Karen pioneered and founded Prepare/Enrich in 1980. They developed a method that provided counselors and clergy with a framework to use with couples.
If you’re wondering how a session with me works, I will provide each of you with a manual during our first session to facilitate the process throughout the time we are together.
We start with an assessment.
I will send you an invitation to the online couple assessment, which you will pay for in advance. The assessment helps to identify your strength and growth areas.
The assessment also provides feedback on areas such as:
- How you handle communication and conflict
- Your level of closeness and flexibility
- Your personality compatibility
- How you manage stress as a couple
Prepare/Enrich has a solid foundation based on systems theory that integrates Marital and Family Therapy concepts.
